    Project description-On the 1st July to mark the centenary year we distributed 100 umbrella branded with Inner Wheel logo and central Calcutta's name printed on it along with 100 food packets to the basti children,aged, women and orphans.

    Project description-On 2nd July to commemorate the centennial year we were blessed to start our permanent project .The Apnalaya clinic for medical aid in Apnalaya. District Chairman Dipannita Gooptu graciously inaugurated the same. It is our permanent project.

    Project description-3rd July, we did very satisfying project at Behala Nabaprayas an institution that caters to under privileged mentally challenged , hearing impaired and autistic children.we gave ration for one month for 100 children and some fruits also.

    Project description-Our project on Zero Waste at BSS School. did collection of newspapers, foam sheets, bubble paper, plastic sheets, water jars, wires, suitcases,cartons, lights etc. And e wastes like Desktops, CPUs, CDs, DVRs, Remotes, telephones etc . Students of BSS helped.
    We collanorated with a waste recycling company named Vital Waste which took all collected stuff for recycling.
    We collabrated with The Times of India- working towards Unplastic India.

    Project description-27th July project at Calcutta Blind School at Behala was really worth visiting. 78 children of defferent age group ,neat , courteous,well mannered with sincere smile.one of them sang so beautifully.At the end we sang national anthem.We donated 78 raincoat, fruits and bottles of Amul cool.

    Project description-30th July we did the project at The Calcutta orphanage consist 120 childrenand both boys and girls.and 13 staff. We donated 7days ration consisting ;

    -220kg rice
    -4kg aatta
    -28 kg refined oil
    -28kg dal
    -5kg sugar
    -5kg masala
    -7packets salt
    -150kg vegetables
    -140 Bananas
    -Cadbury cookies from food bank.
    -120 colour ful towel.

    Venue- Khushiya foundation near Shambhunath pandit hospital

    Project description-31st July we did project ROTI ON WHEEL gave Khichadi Mixed vegetable, sandesh, chutney to 250 needy people of Khushiya foundation.we served them hot food with Krishna Bhajan in background.It was such a lovely experience.

    Venue- YMI ( ye Mera India) school . Behind Punjab club

    Project description-On 7th August we did a project with basti children who are being taught at YMI (ye mera India) school more like a tutorial centre. Taken care by group of ladies of good family .66 children ranging from 5to18 years of age from different backgrounds .It was a very genuine place. We distributed 66 school bags,copy, pencil,pen, eraser,cakes ,chips, biscuits, frooti, chocolates,bananas,etc.

    Project description-On 6th October, 5th day of Joy of giving week,we did a project at PAWS OF HOPE.The place looked after by Saswati Mukherji.she takes care of 20 street dogs and 8 abondoned cats suffering from multiple problems.we sponsered for 15 dogs sterilisation, medicine etc.

    Project description-On 8th October a Madical Eye Camp with RK Matrimangal was held at Apnalay under the personal supervision of BHARTI MATAJI.Sugar test, Eye checkup, blood pressure checkup for 77 patients were done. Medicine and biscuits were provided.

    Project description-On 14th October we did a project at VIVEK BOYS HOME.10boys aging from 5years to 14years are taken care by Sarmita Mitra . They are the children of sex workers.The joy on their face on receiving so many things was worth seeing. We gave them t- shirt of India to wear and watch the Indo Pak match, bags, Bedsheets, fruits, chocolate and biscuits.

    Project description-On 15th October, the first day of Navratri we inaugurated a water kiosk at a very prime location, Dover Terrace, constructed in a unique, vibrant colour orange sponsored by our VP Monika Kejriwal in memory of her late husband Ajay Kejriwal, in the presence of councillor Saurav Basu and DC Dipanita Guptu.
